Our Story
For nearly 40 years, founders Chris MacKeigan and Hershey Vijan MacKeigan have combined their expertise in residential and commercial millwork, kitchen design, and interior planning to create beautiful, enduring spaces. What started as J&J Wood Products has since evolved into J&J By Design, a family business that now includes their sons — continuing a tradition of excellence across generations.
We’ve become known for our Mennonite-crafted custom kitchens, closets, millwork, and furniture — always built with integrity, care, and precision.

In 2016, we opened the doors to our Designer Showroom on Gardiners Road, a warm and welcoming space that brings together a wide range of home improvement products and furnishings — all under one roof.
